What Mental Therapy Can Help With

Many people come to therapy not because something is “wrong” — but because something important needs space.
Common areas we work with include:
  • Depression, Anxiety, Trauma and Abuse
Therapy can help you navigate emotional overwhelm, persistent sadness, or distress related to past experiences. Together, we work to understand your emotional world and develop healthier ways of coping. Long-term depression or anxiety impacting daily life Emotional outbursts, anger or shutdowns Unresolved trauma and past abuse Cross-generational or culturally embedded trauma Panic attacks, OCD, or generalised anxiety
  • Identity, Migration, Bicultural Stress and Intercultural Relationships
Exploring who you are across cultures is both powerful and complex. I offer a safe space to unpack identity, belonging, and life transitions for those with multicultural, migrant, or diaspora experiences. Navigating bicultural or multilingual identities Emotional challenges related to migration or cultural adjustment Discrimination, racism, or feeling like an outsider Cross-cultural relationship or family tensions Identity loss, confusion or role transitions
  • Workplace Mental Health, Stress and Burnout
Whether you’re facing workplace tension or striving for balance, therapy can support you to regulate stress, overcome self-doubt, and regain a sense of direction. Workplace conflict and team dynamics Career stress, transitions or burnout Imposter syndrome or perfectionism Struggles with performance, direction or visibility Systemic barriers or marginalisation at work
  • Personality and Emotional Regulation Difficulties
Some emotional patterns run deep. I work with clients experiencing intense emotions, interpersonal difficulties, or longstanding patterns they wish to better understand and change. Personality difficulties (e.g. borderline traits) Emotion regulation challenges Patterns of self-sabotage or relational conflict Struggles with boundaries and self-worth Resistance to change or fear of vulnerability
  • ADHD, Autism and Neurodivergent Support
Neurodivergence isn’t something to be fixed — it’s something to be supported with care. I provide affirming space for people exploring or living with ADHD, Autism or other forms of neurodivergence. Emotional overwhelm or shutdown Executive function challenges and planning difficulties Masking, burnout, or late diagnosis experiences Self-esteem and identity support Psychoeducation and coping strategies
  • Long-Term Health Challenges and Financial Wellbeing
Living with long-term conditions or financial stress can affect your sense of safety, dignity and hope. Therapy offers space to process these challenges with respect and compassion. Living with chronic illness or disability Stress related to financial hardship Fear about the future or loss of independence Adjustment to major life transitions Navigating health, identity and self-worth
