Welcome to Tiffany Leung’s website (the “Website”). By using this Website and booking services with Tiffany Leung, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making any appointments.
1. Services
Dr Tiffany Leung offers online psychological therapy and online coaching sessions to individuals, couples, and families seeking professional mental health and psychological support. She also offers online professional clinical supervision for trainees, qualified psychologists, psychotherapists, and counsellors.
Services are provided in accordance with the ethical standards set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Psychological Society (BPS). This includes compliance with the HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics (Standards 5, 6 and 10) and the BPS Code of Ethics and Conduct.
All services are delivered remotely (online), and clients are responsible for ensuring they have a private and stable environment suitable for confidential discussions. Dr Leung’s HCPC registration number and professional information are publicly available on the HCPC Register for verification.
Clients receive a Therapy Agreement Summary before the first session. This document summarises the core terms, confidentiality boundaries, and cancellation policy outlined here.
2. Booking Appointments
2.1 Online Booking: Clients can book appointments through the online booking system available on this Website. To secure a session, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
2.2 Confirmation: Once an appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation email with details of the session, including the date, time, and online meeting link for telehealth.
2.3 Session Duration: Each therapy session is typically between 1 hour, 1.5 hours, or 2 hours unless otherwise agreed. Coaching session duration can be up to 2h if agreed during the appointment booking.
2.4 Therapy Location: Sessions will take place via Zoom for telehealth appointments.
2.5 Late Arrival: If you arrive late for your scheduled session, the session will still finish at the originally agreed end time, and the full fee will apply.
2.6 Eligibility: Therapy and coaching services are available only to clients aged 18 and above. For minors, parental or guardian consent is required.
3. Fees and Payment
3.1 Session Fees:
£100 – 1 hour Individual Therapy / Coaching session
£139 – 1.5 hour Therapy / Coaching session
£179 – 2 hour Therapy / Coaching session
£125 – 1 hour Couple / Family Therapy session
£60 – 1 hour Professional Clinical Supervision
Fees may be reviewed periodically, and clients will be notified of any changes at least 30 days in advance.
3.2 Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via credit card. All payments must be made at the time of booking.
3.3 Invoices and Receipts: Clients will automatically receive receipts via email after payment. Upon request, invoices suitable for private insurance claims can be issued.
3.4 Unpaid Sessions: Appointments will not proceed if full payment has not been received prior to the session.
3.5 Cooling-Off Period: In line with UK consumer regulations, clients booking online may cancel their first paid session within 14 days of purchase, provided the session has not yet taken place, and will receive a full refund.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
4.1 Cancellation: Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. No charges will apply for cancellations made within this timeframe.
4.2 Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
4.3 No Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will result in the full session fee being charged.
4.4 Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule their appointment up to 24 hours in advance without incurring additional charges. Rescheduling within 24 hours must be notified by email at therapy@tiffany-leung.com.
4.5 Therapist Cancellations: In the unlikely event that Dr Leung must cancel or reschedule a session (e.g., due to illness or emergency), clients will be notified as soon as possible, and any pre-paid session will be rescheduled or refunded in full.

5. Confidentiality
All communications between the client and Tiffany Leung are confidential. Confidentiality applies except where required by law or to prevent serious harm (see Confidentiality Policy for details).
5.1 Data Protection: Client information is stored securely in compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Clients have the right to request access to their records, correction of inaccuracies, or deletion of data in accordance with data protection laws.
6. Liability Disclaimer
6.1 No Guarantees: While Tiffany Leung is committed to providing high-quality psychological services, results from therapy cannot be guaranteed. Each client’s progress is unique and dependent on many factors.
6.2 Emergency Services: The services provided by Tiffany Leung are not intended for emergencies. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your local emergency services or visit the nearest hospital.
6.3 Website Use: The content on this Website is provided for informational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Tiffany Leung is not liable for any harm or damages resulting from the use or misuse of the Website.
6.4 Service Limitations: Online therapy may have limitations compared to in-person work due to reduced nonverbal cues or technical disruptions. In case of technical difficulties, sessions will continue via an alternative method (e.g., telephone) where feasible.
7. Intellectual Property
All materials on this Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and videos, are the intellectual property of Tiffany Leung or are used with permission. Unauthorized use, copying, or reproduction is prohibited.
7.1 Social Media Content: Educational content shared on Dr Leung’s professional social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Red Book/小紅書) is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute therapy or professional advice.
8. Termination of Services
Tiffany Leung reserves the right to terminate services at any time if it is determined that the therapeutic relationship is not beneficial or if the client fails to comply with these terms and conditions.
8.1 Endings and Referrals: Where therapy or supervision is concluded, a final session may be recommended to review progress and ensure appropriate closure. If necessary, referrals to alternative support or services will be provided.
9. Third-Party Links
This Website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience, and Tiffany Leung is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these external sites.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom . Any disputes arising from the use of this Website or the services provided by Tiffany Leung will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Tiffany Leung reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes via email or through an update on the Website. Continued use of the Website and services will constitute acceptance of any such changes.
12. Complaints and Professional Standards
If you have a concern or complaint about the services provided, please contact Dr Leung directly via email in the first instance. All concerns will be handled respectfully and in accordance with professional ethics.
