If You’re in Crisis — Getting Immediate Support
When You’re Struggling and Need Help Now
There may be moments when emotions feel unbearable — when anxiety, sadness, or distress suddenly intensify.
If you are in crisis or feel unsafe with your thoughts, please don’t face it alone.
Therapy with me is supportive and confidential, but it’s not an emergency service.
If you ever feel you may be at risk of harming yourself or someone else, or are in immediate danger, please reach out to your local emergency or crisis services right now.
You matter — and there is help available, wherever you are.

If You Are a Current Client :
If you are working with me in therapy or supervision and something urgent arises between sessions:
-
You can email me at admin@tiffany-leung.com to let me know,
but please understand I may not see your message immediately. -
In a crisis, always contact local emergency or crisis services first.
For non-urgent matters, I will respond within my standard office hours (Monday – Friday).
Building a Crisis Plan in Therapy
Therapy is also a space to prepare — not only to heal but to plan for moments when emotions feel unsafe or overwhelming.
Together, we can develop:
-
A personal crisis plan (warning signs, coping strategies, and contact network)
-
Steps to regain grounding and safety
-
Ways to involve supportive people or local services when needed
Creating this plan in advance can make a profound difference when stress or crisis re-emerges.
Global & Inclusive Care
As I work with clients internationally, I understand that access to crisis support differs across regions.
For clients based outside the UK, we’ll identify local emergency contacts and culturally appropriate services as part of your therapy safety plan.
A Final Word
Reaching out for help is not a weakness — it’s a moment of strength.
You are not alone, and help is available.
Please keep these numbers close, and if ever in doubt, choose safety first.
