My Background
With over 14 years of experience across the UK and Hong Kong, I provide psychologically informed, culturally responsive therapy for individuals navigating emotional distress, identity, relationships, trauma, burnout, and complex life transitions.
I am a HCPC Registered Counselling Psychologist, BPS Chartered Psychologist, and EuroPsy Registered Psychologist. Alongside private practice, I have worked within senior NHS forensic and complex mental health services, and I currently contribute to psychological care within health and justice settings in the UK.
I am also an Honorary Lecturer at The University of Manchester, where I have taught Intercultural Public Health for over five years, with a particular interest in culture, migration, identity, and psychological wellbeing across different systems and communities.
My work integrates trauma-informed, formulation-led, interculturally informed, and neurodivergence-aware approaches, drawing from humanistic, CBT, ACT, DBT, and compassion-focused frameworks.
I offer therapy in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, recognising that emotional experience, identity, and cultural meaning are often deeply connected to language.
