Psychological therapy is for those who wish to have a personalized support on overcoming sufferings and adversities in life, and reversing the cycle of setbacks.

Qualifications :
I am a UK HCPC accredited counseling psychologist, life coach and University approved clinical supervisor. I am also an honorary lecturer in the University of Manchester, teaching Intercultural Public health in the last 5 years. I have had over 10 years of counseling/therapy experiences in the UK and Hong Kong.
I received all my psychology and counseling qualifications in the UK.

Where are you from :
I was born in Hong Kong China, a melting pot of the East & West. I love traveling and connecting with people from all walks of life. After passing my psychologist doctoral training in University of Manchester, I continue to explore meanings of diversity and equality in this city (and across the globe). I highly value my bicultural experiences and ensure my work is delivered with cultural sensitivity.

What are your work experiences?

Different client groups: individuals and groups, classroom and clinical trainings/ workshops, individual and peer supervision; consultancy for teams and organizations.

Range of settings: local mental health and healthcare organisations, University and college settings, acute mental health and specialized psychiatric placements.

Covering areas (not exclusively): depression and anxiety, trauma and abuse, work based mental health & resilience, relationships work (family, cross-generational, couple), adjusting to a new culture(s), enhancing cross-cultural competence, self-awareness and identity work, personality development and personality problems, bullying and discrimination, learning disability (autism and ADHD support plan & psychoeducation), long-term health difficulties, financial wellbeing.

I am also a senior psychologist in the NHS sector, specializing in forensic secure mental health - a group of service users who present with complexities in mental health and life challenges.

Any other interests?
In the last 5 years, I have developed a number of creative projects on mainstreaming mental health/wellbeing among Chinese and Asian populations in the UK. I am passionate about mental health and holistic wellbeing by being together and staying connected as a community.
Fun fact: I have started a mission diary on adding sustainable products into my regular routine (as an aspirational sustainability supporter!).
